    INSTITUTIONAL AND ACADEMIC GRANTS AND SPONSORED PROGRAMS provide funding for specific programs or general operating support for the College. The following grants and sponsored programs are recognized for the period between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.     The Boyd Foundation – to provide scholarship support

    Delaplaine Foundation, Inc. – to provide capital funds for Brodbeck Hall

    Frederick County Government – to support Data Driven Frederick’s development of a dashboard on the working poor.

    The Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling – to fund a program that addresses problem gambling

    The Maryland Soybean Board – to provide funding for a research project involving soybean waste

    The Gates Foundation – to support the “HIV in 2024: Progress, Problems, and Prospects” symposium

    The George L. Shields Foundation – to provide scholarships for nursing students

    The G. Frank Thomas Foundation – to support student scholarships

    The Harry Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology – to support the study of PFAS in watershed streams

    The Heart of the Civil War Heritage Areas – to fund a digitization project

    The Lake Linganore Association – to provide funding for a water monitoring project

    The PNC Foundation – to fund the Sonia Kovalevsky Math Day for high school girls
